Go over Sony’s site, they have many good info just for this unit. For the price it could be really tough to beat.
Great Stuff:
-Surround decode from the HDMI sources
-The remote additionally controls my Sony Blu-ray player
-The Main L-R speaker outs are selectable to use either full range speakers, or tiny surround speakers
-You can Name every one of the inputs whatever you would like
-For a smaller home theater, sound good quality is great
-auto turn off after 30mins of inactivity
Not thus wonderful stuff
-Only three (3) HDMI inputs, i could have used extra for later, for now all I needed was my DishNetwork box, Xbox and blu-ray
-Only among the three digital audio inputs (2 optical, 1 coax) is programmable to any input. This could have been awesome to be capable of assign any of these for the staying analog video inputs
-Analog video inputs (Wii within my case) do not go out the HDMI output. When I did not expect this, it could have got been a good touch. Since it is We’ve to change my TV’s input to play Wii. This is no biggie, but it would have been wonderful!
In summary, this is a great replacement amp if you currently had an adult surround unit, or in case you desire to pick and chose your speakers. Such as I said, it’s great which it has a built in selectable crossover for the main L-R speakers.
